Clean room detection of wind speed is generally in the forefront of clean room detection projects, but some customers think that clean room air volume, clean room wind speed can not be done, this concept is actually wrong. Hot-wire anemometer is the most commonly used method in clean room testing.

Clean room wind speed detection method

Steps for measuring clean room wind speed with hot-wire anemometer

1. Before measurement, check the appearance and working status of the anemometer. Calibrate the zero position of the anemometer. The probe should be calm when calibrating the zero position.

2. Determine the applicable specifications (with written confirmation by the entrusting party); Calculate the number of measuring points according to the specification and clean room area, and locate the position of measuring points; Step 3 Check whether the zero position of the anemometer is correct.

3、 Place the anemometer at the measuring point, pay attention to the height of the anemometer in accordance with the selected specification requirements, the anemometer detection instrument is opposite to the direction of air flow;

4. Read the wind speed data after it is stable for 10s. If an anemometer with the mean reading function is selected, read the mean value of 10s using the mean reading function of the anemometer. Measure each measuring point and record the data;

5. Calculate the average wind speed and wind speed unevenness.

Precautions for clean room wind speed detection:

1. When measuring wind speed, the windward side of the anemometer probe should be vertical to the wind direction;

2. When reading data, wait for stable display before reading;

3. Attention should be paid to reading the average value of wind speed data. If the wind speed of the measuring point fluctuates greatly, it may be that the measuring point is in the turbulent zone.

4. Care should be taken to prevent the probe of the anemometer from touching other objects.

After the clean room is completed, before it is put into use, it must first be tested by the state-authorized testing institution, and obtain the qualified report of the clean room test, and then thoroughly disinfected before it can be used normally.
